une petite question:
pour  quoi le jboot n'est pas valable avec tgs200??? si nous faisons un mount avec l'hdd du pc(/hdd)  donc possibilté d'istaller les image sur l'hdd du pc

Tout simplement parce que le choix de l'image de boot se fait au début de l'extra_run, et à ce moment, le disque NFS ou CIFS distant n'est pas monté, donc bootmenue ne peut y avoir accès

J'ajouterai qu'une image ne peut être installée en multiboot que sur un système de fichiers de type ext2/ext3, mais pas sur du FAT ou NTFS.
En effet, le contenu du root contient une multitude de liens symboliques, non supportés par FAT ou NTFS

Donc un disque de PC sous Windows se prêterait mal à un usage multiboot ITGATE, en admettant qu'il soit monté au boot....

Peut on simplement la décompresser en écrasant la précédent ou faut il une installation neuve avec reconfiguration

Tu peux écraser l'ancienne, la config sera gardée

L'important c'est surtout d'updater :

I will install it now and will try the improved password changing facility.

I understand I must re-install jiBoot 4.1 on my mmc card in order to avoid files mis-match problems.

Can you change the password on an image on the mmc card with your facillity?

Will this still be compatible with iBoot 3.0a?

Yes, you've to force re-installation of JiBoot 4.3 to take benefit of last release
All existing images will be kept.

Yes, it's compatible with images iBoot 3.0a, but JiBoot must be installed on card (replacement of existing iBoot package)

Sorry to trouble you again and my request being in English, but I can't get the Force Password to work on a newly installed Image in ijBoot4.1.

I had done the initial setup including the Communication Settings.

I tried first of all with a DSv3.6 image whose default password being 'dsteam'

I then tried EDG-Nemesis v.1 image whose default password being blank.

After failing to change the Passwords in ijBoot4.1, I was able to change both images passwords in Technomate Control Center and by FTP, using the default passwords as above.

When the Image passwords are tried again with ijBoot 4.1 (I changed from 'admin' to 'admin'' being the password in the Settings info), everything was OK aand the passwords  were reported changed.

I seems to me that jiBoot does not login correctly with old user name, or there my be a timing problem?
The associated log gives no clue as to what has failed.
I think the facility is embeded within the main code, so I cannot attempt to investigate for myself.

Your work on this Utility is exellent.

I was trying to change the password of an image in mmc.

I have tried again with jiboot4.2, but it fails.

Thats why you could not replicate my problem.

Still, it's no big deal.

is it possible to add in iBoot video mode also the component video (YPbPr)? My tm9100Super is connect to my LCD with component cable and in iBoot menu I see nothing!!

No, sorry, I did'nt had success to do that in bootmenue

It seems drivers are'nt correctly set when using this mode : the sequence to do is probably complex, and bootmenue seems to don't be capable to support
