Here are some additional information and a first small pre-test:

Pour moi, la messe est dite, un nouvel outil pour caller les commodes (les armoires étant réservé a la version non mini :p) :
-> même structure de drivers merdique
-> support pathétique (il y a qu'a voir les bugs énormes qu'ils mettent des mois et des mois à regler)
-> même fonctionnalité extrement pauvre comparé a une dream ou un Vu+

salut,

le seule problem avec la qbox c’est le soc… ils devrait changer de soc par du broadcom comme les dreambox et la peut etre ils aurant finalment trouver la parade. style la vu+… la seule façon d’avoir 100% de compatibilité avec enigma2 c’est d’utiliser le meme soc que dreambox comme on fait les gars de vu+ (enigma2 et surtout les plugin et cam qui son la plupart compilé pour du mipsel...). apres oui je men doute bien que le prix pour le soc broadcom doit etre plus cher que sigma designs, stmicroelectronics et nxp semiconductors (philips)

c’est pour ça que pendant des années la dreambox 8000 qui n’est jamais sortis (histoire de licenses...) avais du amd geode

Non, Les dates ne correspondent pas.

ATI avait fabriqué des µcontroleurs pour STB; La gamme ATI Xilleon.
La Dreambox 7025 est équipée d'un µcontroleur appartenant à cette famille (ATI Xilleon 226).
Fin 2006, AMD rachète ATI.
Entre début 2007 et Aout 2008 AMD n'a pas développé de nouveau µcontroleur pour STB; Il a simplement maintenu la branche STB existante et l'a revendue à Broadcom en Aout 2008.

La Dreambox 8000 embarque un µcontroleur Broadcom BCM7400.
Ce µcontroleur BCM7400 a été finalisé et officialisé par Broadcom en Mars 2007.

D'après les flyers d'époque qui circulaient sur le net, la DM8000 devait embarquer un µcontroleur AMD Elan SC520.
Personnellement, je n'ai jamais vu de photo de prototype confirmant cette information.
Ce n'était qu'un leurre, je pense.
