Expansion of service and support facilities
Dream Multimedia, the leading provider of Linux-based set-top boxes, has reorganized its distribution within the framework of a general restructuring programme. Part of the restructuring involves expanding the service and support facilities for customers.
Dream has specifically decided to expand its international distribution, and to this end has found a partner who will in future be responsible for the worldwide network of distributors as well as for the sell-through of Dream products. This will allow the producer of Dreamboxes to react more flexibly to the demands of an increasingly dynamic market environment, and so to ensure the continued success of the Dream brand.
The restructuring programme involves expanding the service and support facilities at the headquarters in Lünen, close to Dortmund in Germany, in order to provide the company’s own customers with optimum support in case of any questions concerning the Dream products.
The restructuring as well as the expansion of the service and support facilities ensure that Dream can enhance its profile in comparison with its competitors. In future, too, Dream Multimedia will continue to cement its leading position as an innovative company in the field of consumer electronics, with specifically developed software solutions and new products, such as the Goliath project, which is currently in development.
