Dream expands Plugin-Award
New „Games“ category added

Lünen, 8. September 2010. Dream Multimedia, the leading supplier of Linux-based set-top boxes, has responded to many requests and enquiries by adding a further category to the Plugin-Award announced recently. In addition to the previously announced categories, in which Linux programmers can enter their plugins for the award, a new „Games“ category has now been added.
This means that the three best plugins will now be selected from a total of eleven categories, and prizes awarded accordingly: Recording, Display and User Interface, Common Interface, Communication, Multimedia, Network, Satellite Equipment, Skins, Software, System and Games. A condition of the awards is that the plugins must run under the Enigma2 operating system.
The closing date for entries is the 1st of December 2010. Dream Multimedia will announce the winners of the Plugin-Award on the 24th of December. Participants should send their plugin, together with detailed documentation, to award@dream-multimedia-tv.de. The conditions of entry are set out on the following website: www.dream-multimedia-tv.de/plugin-award.
The winners of the awards can look forward to driving off in a new car. The first prize being provided by Dream Multimedia is a VW Tiguan Trend & Fun. The winners of the second and third prizes will each receive a VW Polo Comfortline.

Dream spokesperson Alpaslan Karasu: „The initial response to the Plugin-Award has been overwhelming. That is why we have now decided to add a further category. We really are very excited and keen to see what ideas the countless Linux programmers have for our Dreamboxes.“
